Refunding Transactions
You can complete full or partial refunds from within the client manager. Full refunds will return the full amount of the transaction back to the payer, and partial refunds will return a specified partial amount back to the payer (this can be useful in the case where a payer had multiple items in the transaction but needs to return one). In both cases, the number of items sold will be decreased by one when the refund is completed.
Note: If the refund buttons do not appear in the transaction details modal, this means you do not have permission to perform refunds. Please contact your Account Owner to grant you this permission setting.
To Do a Full Refund:

- Once logged into the Client Manager, locate the transaction you wish to refund in the transactions report. You may need to adjust the report's filters to locate the transaction. You can also locate the transaction using the 'Search' function from the reporting main menu.

- Click the detail icon (four blue lines) for the desired transaction to open the details modal.

- At the top of the modal are several blue buttons. Click the button that says "Full Refund." Click 'Yes' on the confirmation popup that says "Are you sure you want to fully refund this transaction?"

- Close the details modal. On your transaction report, a new authorized transaction will be listed with red text, indicating the amount of the refund. The refund will be settled with the next settled batch. The original transaction's status will be changed to "Refund Pending" and will be updated to "Refunded" once the refund has been settled.
To Do a Partial Refund:

- Once logged into the Client Manager, locate the transaction you wish to refund in the transactions report. You may need to adjust the report's filters to locate the transaction. You can also locate the transaction using the 'Search' function from the reporting main menu.

- Click the detail icon (four blue lines) for the desired transaction to open the details modal.

- At the top of the modal are several blue buttons. Click the button that says "Partial Refund."

- Each item included in the transaction will be listed on the screen. Enter the amount for each item you wish to refund. Cllick "Process Refund" and confirm on the confirmation pop-up that you wish to proceed.

- You will see a confirmation message alerting you that the partial refund was successful. If you return to the transaction report, you will see a new authorized transaction listed with red text, indicating the amount of the refund.
